NASA's Mars Perseverance rover acquired this image using its Right Mastcam-Z camera. Mastcam-Z is a pair of cameras located high on the rover's mast. This image was acquired on Sep. 23, 2021 (Sol 211) This image has had 10% brightness and 15% contrast applied for better shape definition. Also lightly applied colour temperature correction. My enhanced image clips are subject to copyright but the gigapan image is Creative Commons: Attribution. All these finds must be credited to ArtAlienTV unless stated otherwise.
