A large frog fossil that is over a foot in size on Mars in Gale Crater. This would have been mineralized in the bicarb rich lake sediment like creature at lake Natron in Africa. Also a possible skull to the right of the pan. > This image was taken by MAST_RIGHT and LEFT onboard NASA's Mars rover Curiosity on Sol 3859 (2023-06-15) > The upper image has had 20% brightness and 20% contrast applied for better shape definition.
