🧐 I have made a 3D/sculpture model of a recent find on Mars. It resembles a mobile oil heater or chimneo wood burner in shape but may well be something very different like a bell. It has a metal handle and is most definitely not just a rock! It's very alien looking in both design and form compared to anything I have seen down here on Earth, but has the details similar to an oven/kiln or heater. I did initially refer to this object as a bell but now think it is not. It is shaped more like a wood burner or something similar in shape. These Martian images are becoming ever more intriguing and throw up many more questions than they answer. The artifact is about a foot tall or less in height. I may do an update on this 3D model if I can find some thicker wire for the handle to make it more in proportion. This in the end turned out to be a very difficult sculpture but I have ultimate respect for the designer/manufacturer of what looks like a cast metal object. Having remodeled this object more than once I feel I have an understanding of both it's design and fine balance. I made it with Super Sculpey modelling clay. The upper image has had 20% brightness and 10% contrast applied for better shape definition. Also lightly applied colour temperature correction.
