🧐 Views of a boat near a dockside and capstan mooring structures with the ape-man statue in the foreground and a giant 60 -100 ft sphinx head in the background. Check it out ! 🧐 What seems to be another large ape on Mars. In this Rover image there is a clear ape skull with good eye, nose , ear, mouth and facial details. Enough to determine that this is not carved and is in fact a fossilized/mummified head of a creature that once roamed the surface of Mars that may have drank water from this Oasis in Gale Crater. Head size about 10 -15 inches high. It is not a gorilla or chimp but something else and the earring detail says proto-humanoid to me.
