Discovered by keen eyed researcher Martine Grainey, (UFAH) we have what looks like a very large house or forge with an apex roof on Mars in Gale Crater in this Curiosity Rover image on the Mars Gigapan. It seems to be part of a much larger city structure that has been obscured or blurred out on the right and was about 2 - 3 miles from the Rover at the time the photograph was taken. It is hard to say exactly how far as the Rover has a powerful telephoto zoom lens on it's Mast camera that can make you feel much closer to structures. Could this be another optical illusion like the giant mouse or is this a genuine building? Check out the blurred rectangular shapes to the right of the potential house. JPL seem to have removed the original colour image of this from the official Curiosity image gallery. This image was taken by MAST_RIGHT onboard NASA's Mars rover Curiosity on Sol 753 (2014-09-18) The upper image has had 20% brightness and 20% contrast applied for better shape definition.
