A 4km wide city on Mars with clear raised roads and structures all over and around. This is an incredible recent find from Greg Orme. NASA calls these "Well-Preserved Polygons" but you can see many rectangular structures in the walled compound areas of the city as well as small bridges and many T junctions. The best and clearest example ever seen of a Martian City ! So far ! See video here for more 👉 https://youtu.be/TagxqGxHV_o MARS City Found - Roads and Structures - ArtAlienTV Credit to Greg Orme for this find. His post. The King's Valley, Mars: Why we must go. This is a reimage of a formation I posted earlier. It was pointed out by someone else, I gave an attribution in the original post here. The wall shapes are puzzling, NASA claims they are polygons. That seems unlikely to be right, cracked polygons don't make these shapes and there are no cracks. The three main artificiality hypotheses are walls, roads, and canals. It would be unlikely that plain walls would all have this concave groove running along them, no other possible walls have these on Mars. The second possibility is they are roads, but it would seem the sides of these grooves would be unnecessary for that. The third is canals. The water may have been melting on the tall falt hill, probably an old volcano. Snow may have melted and then been directed down these canals into fields in between them. That makes another kind of use for water, there are possible canals elsewhere on Mars but these would be the first raised ones like viaducts. There is a second area with these nearby but HiRise has not imaged it eyt. The heat from the volcano would then send water down these viaducts, after too great a distance it would freeze. That would limit the size of the formation. With no volcano other areas nearby may have been too cold, that might tell us the planet was very cold even near the equator like this. Also it implies the water could flow long distances without sublimating or boiling away from low air pressure. Possible crops may have been the same as with the walled fields in Hellas and Lyot Craters. https://www.facebook.com/crownedface/photos/pcb.4806281946123152/4806201532797860 My enhanced image clips are subject to copyright but the gigapan image is Creative Commons: Attribution.
