Explore the extraordinary structures created by people. What looks like a jumble of electronic parts from across the room becomes a landscape of intricate structures when you step closer. This massive gigapixel image brings together circuit boards, sensors, cameras, displays, connectors, microchips, flexible circuits, mechanical parts, and other components found inside the technology we use every day. Look closely. Follow the tiny pathways across a circuit board. Find components smaller than a grain of rice. Discover microscopic markings, solder joints, wires, gears, connectors, and patterns that reveal how these devices were designed, manufactured, and assembled. How many things can you recognize—and can you figure out what they do? Follow us at http://linkedin.com/company/gigamacro to receive updates for new images like this one.
