Are these trees or vines on the Mars surface in this area dubbed Bilbao ? Or is this an optical illusion. Some look more like cracks but many of these have shadows so are above the ground. Are these possible living vines or trees petrified in the harsh cold ? The huge long branches can be seen in great detail. Many look bleached and can also be seen entering the cracked surface.
