A slab of chalcedony full of Eocene gastropod fossils. Though commonly referred to as "Turitella agate," that name is a misnomer. These snails are a freshwater species, Elimia tenera. Zoom in closer, and you'll see that the shells are packed full of mango-shaped ostracode fossils.
