NASA's Mars Perseverance rover acquired this image using its Left and Right Mastcam-Z camera. Mastcam-Z is a pair of cameras located high on the rover's mast. This image was acquired on Oct. 7, 2022 (Sol 580) The lower image has had 30% brightness and 30% contrast applied for better shape definition. Also lightly applied colour temperature correction. My enhanced image clips are subject to copyright but the gigapan image is Creative Commons: Attribution. All these finds must be credited to ArtAlienTV unless stated otherwise.
