What appears to be a well camouflaged bird like a Falcon or Owl here in Jezero Crater sitting on a mound covered with shattered masonry blocks and possible fossils. Falcon size around 5 to 8 inches. > NASA's Mars Perseverance rover acquired this image using its Left and Right Mastcam-Z camera. Mastcam-Z is a pair of cameras located high on the rover's mast. This image was acquired on June 8, 2021 (Sol 107) > The upper image has had 20% brightness and 20% contrast applied for better shape definition.
