NASA's Mars Perseverance rover acquired this image using its Right Mastcam-Z camera. Mastcam-Z is a pair of cameras located high on the rover's mast. This image was acquired on Sept. 24, 2023 (Sol 922) > The image has had -30% brightness and 30% contrast applied for better shape definition. Also lightly applied colour temperature correction. > My enhanced image clips are subject to copyright but the gigapan image is Creative Commons: Attribution.
