This is a low resolution test image that examines the use of depth map information. The depth map is created from the focus stacking process used by GIGAmacro. Twelve separate sets of photograph were taken at varying levels of focus. In total, photographs were captured to create the full resolution 1.4 gigapixel image. The test here uses a low resolution version (4096 x 4096) to relight the moth. The depth information is used in Maya to provide 3 dimensional information about the subject and the photograph is relighted.
