At the western side of the Hanging Rock Anticline outcrop on Corridor H (new route 55 in West Virginia, between Moorefield and Wardensville) shows the depositional contact between the Tuscarora quartz sandstones and the overlying shales and iron sands of the Rose Hill Formation. The contact, like the strata, dips to the west/northwest. Perspective is looking along strike (roughly) to the south/southwest.
