The distinctive Moho boundary is evident at the top of the mountain separating the lighter lithospheric mantle rocks from the darker crustal gabbros see at the very top of the ridge (see the snapshot for details.) This locations has been tagged the "5 o'clock Moho" because the low angle light in the late afternoon accentuates the view of this dramatic/rare exposure of rocks formed at the mantle-crust boundary.
