This sedimentary breccia is interpreted to have resulted from a tsunami induced by a meteorite impact. The poorly sorted, angular-grained deposit includes bright-green verdite, abundant chert, and also accretionary lapilli (orb-shaped rock vapor condensates) of ultramafic composition. This sample has been ground and polished. An untreated surface of the same sample is here: https://viewer.gigamacro.com/view/GVxaS5aODEfzaAAP The sample was collected at this site: https://viewer.gigamacro.com/view/9yH8kmLSnZ8K922e
