The image is positioned to the west. There are multiple spits that prorude into the embayment. The main features in the embayment are Provo age formations. The double Provo shorelines are exhibited within the image. Peplin Mountain can be seen to the north (right) with the Bonneville shoreline exhibited around the tip of the mountain. Matlin Mountain is on the South (left side) with multiple Intermediate terraces that G.K. Gilbert called the Dove Creek terraces.
