Incised cut bank just below a nick point in the stream caused by a gravel ford. The base of this contains anthropogenic debris from some kind of constructed structure. The logs are clearly hewn and built for some purpose, purpose an older ford over the river or a structure related to a historic mill dam. Note the stratification of fines sitting atop much coarser material above the wooden beams.
