This view combines many images taken by Opportunity's panoramic camera (Pancam) from sols 1978 through 1990 (Aug. 8-29, 2009). At the center of this 360° image is a meteorite, dubbed Block Island, which was found along the traverse between Victoria and Endeavour Craters. It measures about 65 cm, or about two feet across (see a smaller survey here). As the rover carried out measurements on Block Island, frames of this panorama were gradually acquired. About seven frames in (starting from the left side) the rim of Endeavour Crater can just be made out in the distance.
