What a story to be seen here: Cambrian sedimentation (stromatolites in foreground, plus continental redbeds up on the peak), deformation during the orogeny that built the Canadian Rockies, and finally glaciation and deglaciation. Bedding in the stromatolite rich layer is oriented 295°/14° (right-hand rule).
