“Van Zyl Overlook Panorama” NASA’s Perseverance Mars rover used its Mastcam-Z stereo imaging system to capture this 360-degree panorama The Mars rover was parked for 13 days as the Ingenuity helicopter performed its first flights. The 1.9 billion-pixel panorama is made up of 992 individual Mastcam-Z(R) images taken between April 15th and 26th 2021 (Sol(s) 53 to 64) this full resolution version panorama includes the addition of the rover’s deck; as seen by its navigation cameras on 31st sol of the mission.
