In the George Washington National Forest, south of Duncan Knob, there is a small outcrop of late-Ordovician aged Martinsburg Formation. These turbidites often show fine graded beds, like this one. This sample has been ground and polished to a level of 13000 grit. Contrast it with this sample, which saw only 800 polish: https://viewer.gigamacro.com/view/ImJUxSdbvC8Pcvj1
