This large road cut exposes deformed Mesozoic sedimentary rocks of the Hawasina sequence along Highway 15 approximately 5 km to the southeast of Birkat al Mouz, Oman. Close examination of the panorama reveals conjugate faults, thrust fault tips, and a series of folds.
